What you will be doing
Becoming an apprentice is an important decision and it involves making a commitment. It takes time to learn new skills, but the Apprentice Team Leader, service areas and mentors will be on hand to supervise and train you. There are opportunities available across multiple service areas at WDH.
You will be working alongside passionate and experienced colleagues in a busy, inclusive environment and gain the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to make a positive impact on customers.
This year we have an opportunity to join our Human Resources team:
Working within the people profession enables you to use your skills, knowledge, and ethics to help shape an organisation and its people.
You will harmonise, engage, and support employees to meet the organisations objectives through supporting the good working practices of both individual and collective relationships within the workplace. Through your values and ethics, you will work to support the whole organisation to meet its objectives in a changing, evolving, and dynamic environment.
The role will give you the breadth of experience to understand the theory behind your practice and evidence your capabilities by completing a CIPD Level 3 accredited course. We will support you in an inclusive organisation, within a friendly team to achieve your qualification, while learning about HR, its specialisms, and the organisation, for you to progress your career in the people profession.
What training do you get?
As part of our apprenticeship programme, you will receive up to 2 years of training and gain a nationally recognised Level 3 CIPD qualification in Human Resources Support through BPP. You will need to commit to completing all coursework and assessments as part of your apprenticeship qualification. Dependant on your successfully completing the apprenticeship standard you will then have the opportunity to explore your future role in WDH. Our apprenticeship programme also offers further opportunities of personal and professional development and an insight into wider business operations.
You will receive mentorship and support in learning your role and the procedures within the service area.
You will have the opportunity to attend internal and external meetings and job shadow across the service area including helping develop links and partnerships with external agencies.
