We are offering a temporary position to cover a period of maternity leave at Level 2 of the Career Graded Legal Officer role, which is focused on providing essential administrative support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within a legal environment, working alongside our Property Legal team. While there is no requirement to be undertaking or acquire CILEX during this fixed-term contract, the role will provide you with valuable exposure to a variety of tasks and responsibilities, supporting the smooth running of the team.
What you'll be doing
You will be expected to assist with basic property enquiries and legal work of a simple nature, progress the sales of Right to Buy and Right to Acquire properties including some post completion matters as well as providing general administrative assistance to the team.
What we’re looking for
To join our Property Legal team, we’re looking for someone with:
- Four Qualifications at Level 2 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework including English Language or English Literature.
- Experience of working with computer software and legal databases including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work well as part of a small team.
- Previous conveyancing experience or experience of working in a legal environment is highly desirable.
