Foundation Grant Scheme - now open!

Boost your career with our Foundation Grant

Live in one of our homes? You can apply for our non-repayable grant of up to £1,500 to fund careers education or training.

The grant is open to anyone aged over 16 and registered as living in a WDH home. It could help you pay for training, course equipment or ID, fund childcare or secure a bus pass to travel to college.

In your application you'll be asked to show how funding will improve your employment opportunities and wellbeing, as well as about your relevant skills and experience.

After each application deadline, our Foundation Panel decides which applications can be funded. You'll find out whether your application has been successful or not around a month after the deadline.

How can I apply?

Please complete the Foundation Grant application form, ensuring you include all the relevant details and email your ID and quotes within 14 days of submitting the application. 

The application deadlines are:

Tuesday, 1 April 2025
Tuesday, 1 July 2025

Community Grant scheme

The Community Grant Scheme gives small grants to local community and voluntary groups that work to make a real difference within our communities. 

We want to support projects that benefit those most in need and that help with the cost of living, boost health and wellbeing and improve the lives of people living in our local communities.

We'll prioritise applications where groups can show that their project will have a positive impact on the wider community, where many people are able to benefit from the project, rather than a smaller, closed group.

Don't miss out! Applications will close on Friday, 21 March 2025 and this will be your last chance to apply this year.
