Huntwick Bungalows in Featherstone is a purpose-built development of one- and two-bedroom homes. 

Each bungalow is self-contained with a modern fitted kitchen and bathroom suite and well-appointed bedrooms and living rooms. The bungalows benefit from double glazing and gas central heating. 

There are open plan gardens around the scheme. 

Conveniently located close to Featherstone town centre, Huntwick is just a short bus ride from supermarkets, local shops, pubs, clubs, churches, hairdressers, a fish and chip shop, chemists, butcher and a variety of sandwich shops. 

WDH's Care Link emergency contact system is wired into each home ensuring access to assistance 24 hours a day. 

All bungalows are fitted with a fire alarm which is tested regularly. 

Local amenities 

There are local shops, including a post office, in Priory Road, which is within walking distance of the bungalows. You can find more shops in Featherstone town centre, which is just a short bus ride from the bus stop in Priory Road. 

Activities 

Across all our schemes we like to help create a strong sense of community, and we do this by supporting like-minded people to establish a programme of regular activities.  

Some of our schemes enjoy bingo, attend coffee mornings, or take part in other social activities.

Huntwick Bungalows has been designed to accommodate a wide range of people’s needs. As well as handrails, it also has disabled access. 

Support 

At Huntwick Bungalows, support is available when you need it. With an experienced Community Support Worker and our Care Link system installed in every home as standard, residents can live with the peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, support can be summoned immediately. Residents will receive the same service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round from WDH. Residents can also tailor the support they receive to suit them, just speak to your Community Support Worker about what suits you and your lifestyle. 

Security
