Our Corporate Management Team paid a visit to Tombridge Crescent, in Kinsley, to see progress made during Phase Two of the regeneration works and to visit the new build site which will create 27 more homes for our customers.
The regeneration project will bring improvements to 101 of our properties as well as some private owners who have been given the opportunity to be part of the transformative works. So far, 100 homes have already benefitted from new roofing and external wall insulation.
The programme of re-investment works is currently 70% complete and on track to finish on schedule in October. Our teams are installing new driveways, boundary walls, fencing, drop crossings and laying new turf.
Executive Director of Investment Sue Young said: “The difference this project has made is already clear to see.
“We recognise how hard the team has worked towards the regeneration of Tombridge Crescent and to create homes and spaces that the whole community can be proud of. It is great to know that our tenants are already happy with many of the changes that are being made.
“Seeing people using their outdoor spaces again and taking renewed pride in their properties is exactly the outcome we wanted to see from this type of project. I am confident that community at Tombridge Crescent and the surrounding area will benefit from the work being done here for years to come.”
