Steve and Sandra are among some of the latest homeowners who have started their shared ownership journey with WDH. They bought their dream home in Cottingham with Shared Ownership by WDH, providing them with a safe and secure place to live.

WDH is investing four million pounds into improving 113 homes on Cromwell Crescent in Pontefract as part of the social housing provider’s wider £150 million investment in their homes over the next three years. The homes have already benefitted from external works in 2018, including new roofs and repointing to help improve their energy efficiency and will now undergo environmental works to further improve the appearance of the local area.

A development of 14 new affordable homes in Wakefield has been handed over to WDH, with the first residents set to move in imminently. Delivered by Esh Construction’s affordable housing division, the Greenhill Mews development provides seven two and three-bedroom homes for affordable rent, as well as seven properties for shared ownership, all of which have been reserved off-plan.

If, within the last year, you have received a Hardship Scheme grant from WDH, you may receive a telephone call from our customer experience specialists, Feedback Market Research. They will be calling to ask you how the scheme is having an impact on you and your life. The survey will start on Thursday, 5 May 2022 and end on Sunday, 29 May 2022.

WDH is building 18 brand new homes on Marshall Drive in South Elmsall, where a block of disused one-bedroom flats once stood. The housing association is working with local developer, Jack Lunn to build the new homes for affordable rent in South Elmsall.

The second wave of this year’s Tenant Survey is currently underway, giving you the opportunity to voice your opinion of and satisfaction with WDH. Carried out by TLF Research, our customer experience specialists, the second wave of the survey will run from Monday, 11 April to Friday, 20 May 2022.
