WDH and Termrim build 20 new homes in South Kirkby

Published 6 April 2018

WDH and building contractors Termrim have built twenty new homes in South Kirkby and made improvements for local residents.

The development on Northagh Close, is a mixture of two and three bedroom homes and two bedroom flexible bungalows, with some for rent and some for sale through Shared Ownership.

Work began in January 2017 and has taken just over fourteen months to complete. During their time on site, WDH also made some improvements for local residents including off street parking, new walls and fencing.

All the properties are built to a high standard and include quality fitted kitchens with spotlights, downstairs toilets, energy efficient boilers, turfed gardens with a shed and two parking spaces per property.

The bungalows allow living on one floor with an additional bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor to enable flexible living if desired.

Tony Askew, WDH’s New Build Operations Manager, said: “It is a pleasure to continue to improve and provide new homes for people in the Wakefield district.  This scheme enhances the area and offers a range of modern and flexible living options for prospective customers.  The work is a credit to our contractor, Termrim, and all of the different teams at WDH who have contributed.”

WDH is currently working on a further six sites, building both homes for sale and to rent.
