Manorfields Money Meeting for Tenants and Residents Group

Published 3 March 2015

Residents of Horbury’s Manorfields estate can have their say on the future of their local tenants and residents association at a special meeting this Thursday (March 5).

The meeting, at Primrose Hall at 7pm, will focus on whether residents would like the Tenants and Residents Association to reopen or to decide how the remaining funds should be spent. The funds have been allocated to spend directly on the estate, for improvements or repairs, or for a local group to spend on behalf of the residents.

Kathryn Hutchinson, Tenant Involvement Officer said “I would encourage everyone who lives on Manorfields Estate to attend the meeting so we can get as many points of view from them about whether they want to re-start the Association or if it should be formally disbanded.  Ultimately, the group and its assets belong to the Manorfields community, so they need to be the driving force behind any decisions that are made.”

All suggestions are welcome, great or small, so come along and have your say! If you are unable to attend but have a suggestion contact Kathryn Hutchinson on 01924 247100.
