Our SAPs will be closed tomorrow (Friday 14 December) and will reopen on Monday 17 December as normal. OneCALL are available 24 hours a day on 0345 8 507 507 for urgent enquiries about estate management and repairs. You can pay your rent using our online payment site, or by calling OneCALL or at any newsagents, convenience store or petrol station displaying the PayPoint sign. You can also pay your rent by registering for an online account, where you can manage all aspects of your tenancy. For more information, visit the tenant area of WDH.co.uk here.

From today (Wednesday 28 November 2018) Universal Credit (UC) Full Service is being rolled out across the Wakefield district. UC replaces six benefits with a single monthly payment similar to a monthly working wage. The six benefits being replaced are: Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance Income-related Employment and Support Allowance Income Support Child Tax Credits Working Tax Credits Housing Benefit From today, you will need to claim UC if you are making a new benefit claim and are of working age. You might also need to claim UC if your circumstances change. Are you ready? It could take five weeks to receive your first payment so it’s important you act quickly when making your claim. Speed up the process by making sure you’re prepared now. We’ve put together some handy guidance on how you can make sure you’re UC ready. Notice to Spark Energy Customers26 November 2018

On Friday 23 November it was announced that Spark Energy has ceased trading and that OVO Energy are selected by the GB Energy regulator (OFGEM) to take over Spark's customer base.  If you're a Spark customer, it's good news - you don't need to do anything. Spark will continue to service all aspects of your account under the spark brand. It's business as usual.  Ofgem, have also advised that Spark Energy customers will not have their gas or electricity supply affected. Ofgem’s advice to customers in the meantime is: Do not switch to another energy supplier. Take a meter reading ready for when your new supplier contacts you.
