If you've recently lost your job, are looking to get back into employment after a career
break or maternity, or you're looking to start work for the first time, our team of
advisors can give you all the help and advice you could need at our regular work
clubs held right across the district.
Our skilled advisors can help you find jobs online, offer guidance on how to write a
CV and apply for jobs, offer interview skills and tips, and help you find the right training course.
Our Community Employment Advisors can also put you forward for WDH’s Training for Employment Programme
which offers up to six months paid employment in an outdoor role for adults who are unemployed and

Currently our Community Employment Advisors have helped more than 4,500 people, assisting
over 2,000 into training and over 1,400 into employment.
