Farfield Court in South Elmsall is a purpose built development of 32 one bedroom apartments and 12 two bedroom bungalows.

Each home is self-contained with a well-appointed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. The properties are double glazed and have either district or gas fired central heating.

WDH's Care Link emergency contact system is wired into each home ensuring access to assistance 24 hours a day.

Conveniently located close to South Elmsall town centre, Farfield Court is just a short bus ride – from supermarkets, local shops, pubs, clubs, churches, hairdressers, a fish and chip shop, chemists, butcher and a variety of sandwich shops.

A mobile hairdresser visits Farfield Court weekly and the mobile library calls once a month.

All apartments are linked to a fire alarm which is tested regularly and bungalows are fitted with a smoke alarm.

Local amenities

Shops, doctors' surgery and chemist in Barnsley Road, are a short bus ride from the nearby bus stop.

Activities

Across all our schemes we like to help create a strong sense of community, and we do this by bringing together like-minded people through our programme of regular activities. Residents can enjoy bingo, attend coffee mornings, or take part in quiz nights or monthly social outings.

Support

At Farfield Court support is available when you need it. With an experienced Residential Scheme Manager or Community Support Worker and our Care Link system installed in every home as standard, residents can live with the peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, support can be summoned immediately. Residents will receive the same service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round from WDH. Residents can also tailor the support they receive to suit them, just speak to your Residential Scheme Manager or Community Support Worker about what suits you and your lifestyle.

We know that your security is a priority, and that’s why access to the communal entrance at Farfield Court is through a secure key system and CCTV to door entry.
