Senior Team Leader (Responsive Repairs)

We are currently looking for a Senior Team Leader to support our Delivery Manager in the delivery of day-to-day emergency and responsive repairs and maintenance service, voids, pest control, and other associated service deliverables within the Repairs and Maintenance section for WDH.

What you’ll be doing:

The role will involve assisting in the operational planning of works, assuming responsibility for managing Team Leaders and sub-contractors as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements that relate to the Repairs and Maintenance service.

You will also make a positive and innovative contribution to the management team and lead on the delivery of patch-based activities and work closely with Team Leaders, Support Staff, Tradespeople, other WDH stakeholders and external partners.

What we’re looking for:

To join our Maintenance Department, we’re looking for someone with:

  • a qualification at level 4 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework;
  • SMSTS, IOSH or other relevant Health and Safety qualification (or willingness to work towards);
  • experience of delivering successful, continuous improvement / change within a diverse workforce environment;
  • experience of analysing, monitoring and controlling work processes and procedures; and
  • an understanding of the current issues facing the provision of social housing.
