Admin Officer (Independent Living) - Fixed term up to 11 months (maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Independent Living Team within the Care and Health service to provide exemplary administration support in both the scheme management and tenant support service, ensuring a high standard of customer service is always achieved.

What you’ll be doing:

You will work as part of the Independent Living team to deliver a comprehensive, first-class Landlord / customer relationship. You will provide support to the Independent Living Managers and other employees within the Independent Living Team.

What we’re looking for:

To join our Care and Health department, we’re looking for someone with:

  • experience of working within a high-quality administration environment;
  • the ability to maintain and grow effective working relationships with customers, internal services and external partners and organisations, and act as a point of contact within the team;
  • experience of processing data and typed work to a high standard;
  • the ability to contribute to the continued improvement of customer service levels;
  • knowledge and practical experience of using IT systems, including experience of using Microsoft Office;
  • the ability to analyse, interpret, coordinate and present information in a logical format, both written and verbally, in a timely manner;
  • excellent telephone and customer care skills, and evidence of a customer focused approach to service users;
  • the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team with a flexible approach to meet the agreed standards and targets; and
  • excellent communication skills and have the ability to use plain English effectively both verbally and written.
