We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our busy Exchequer Services Team to support in the day to day operations.

As a member of the Exchequer Services team, you will use Microsoft Dynamics Finance system, be involved in all aspects of paying suppliers and raising invoices to collect monies from our customers. At WDH the financial year end is March and consequently, you will be involved in the year end closedown period.

The opportunity to join a friendly supportive team who will provide you with a year of quality hands on work experience within our Exchequer Services finance team. The team are responsible for paying suppliers and collecting monies for sundry debts amongst other duties.

The post is an essential role within the team which will provide you with quality experience that will develop skills that will benefit you in your final degree year and improve future employment opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • a business studies/finance year 2 degree student with an interest in finance;
  • good communication skills both verbal and written;
  • some experience of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Word;
  • self-motivated and able to respond effectively when under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • keen to learn; and
  • able to work from our head office Merefield House and/or remotely (all equipment provided).
