We are looking for individuals who have drive, commitment and passion to help maintain and improve the estates, where properties are owned and managed by WDH. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial in managing challenging situations.
A key part of these role is to always promote our service in a manner consistent with the Team Plan, Customer Charter Standards, legal and regulatory requirements.
In these roles, you will manage individual tenancies conditions, manage and improve environmental quality of our neighbourhoods and help to create places where people want to live and stay.
Details of each role which we are recruiting is as follows:
Estate Officer – Casework
1 x up to 37 hours post
Estate Officer – Neighbourhoods
1 x 33.5 hours (18.5 hours and 15 hour posts)
You will take a pro-active approach dealing with planned, cyclical, environmental and tenancy management issues. You will work with key partners to create high quality environmental standards throughout our communities.
Estate Officer – Peripatetic
2 x up to 37 hours posts
You will be responsible for all aspects of tenancy and estate management within the Wakefield district and when required across the wider Yorkshire region. You will primarily work across all seven neighbourhood areas within the Wakefield district to provide additional employee resource.
Estate Officer – Out of District
You will be responsible for all aspects of tenancy and estate management in respect of our out of district portfolio which extends across the Yorkshire region.
What we’re looking for:
It is essential that you have:
A qualification at Level 2 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework, such as GCSEs (three A – C/9 – 4), Award, Certificate or Diploma at level 2 or equivalent.
You must have
The position requires applicants to hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the Wakefield district and Yorkshire region, when required on a daily basis. You will also need to be available to attend out of hours meetings and participate in out of hours call out and emergency planning procedures.
