We are looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail to support the Risk Management Officer, maintain our risk and assurance register and be involved in supporting our planning and business continuity arrangements.

The successful candidate will need to be organised and professional and will assist in reviewing how well our risks are being managed, looking at the effectiveness of the controls in place as part of our approach to integrated risk and assurance mapping.

Experience of risk management and business continuity are not essential. However, we will expect candidates to have experience within a business support, risk, audit, or compliance role where accuracy is important, and data analysis, checking or reconciliation is involved.

We’re looking for someone who is great with Microsoft Word and Excel to help maintain good records and someone who is not afraid to speak up and challenge to get the job done.

Applicants will have:

  • qualification at Level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework;
  • proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams;
  • evidence of planning, organising, and co-ordinating their work to achieve deadlines;
  • relevant experience within a business support, risk, audit, compliance role involving data analysis and reconciliation;
  • ability to communicate confidently and effectively and negotiate with people at different levels of an organisation to ensure that required outcomes and timescales are achieved; and
  • ability to work as both an individual and member of team.

As an employer WDH can offer you a great set of benefits which includes:

  • 25 days holiday (rising to 30 over 5 years’ service) + statutory bank holidays;
  • a very attractive pension scheme (14.3% employer contribution);
  • a wide range of personal development opportunities;
  • a fantastic health and wellbeing package; and
  • "cycle to work" scheme and discounted shopping platform.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all.
