We are looking for someone who is committed to gas safety to organise and manage an efficient and cost-effective Gas Services Team for allocated areas of work. In this role you will deliver the highest level of service to WDH customers and various stakeholders in compliance with current regulations. The role will have a focus on gas servicing, repair and Installation, maintenance and improvement schemes.

Applicants will have:

• a qualification at Level 3 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework in an appropriate subject for example, gas and / or mechanical services engineering or working towards;
• significant supervisory experience in gas installations in building construction, servicing and maintenance and repair;
• experience in solving gas appliance and system defects, applying suitable remedies;
• a proven track record in excellent customer-focused service provision;
• appropriate A.C.S. elements; and
• the ability to work flexibly in terms of hours of work and work content.

The core hours of the role are 37 hours however you may be asked to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm (including some weekend working). A current, valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement of the role.
