We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to play a key role in protecting one of the UK’s leading housing associations.
Responsible for over 32,000 homes across the Wakefield district and beyond, WDH contributes to creating confident communities and improving the lives of thousands of people and their families. This role supports the organisation to manage our risks to ensure we can continue to do so.
We are looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail to support the Risk Management Officer, maintain our risk and assurance register and be involved in supporting our planning and business continuity arrangements.
The successful candidate will need to be organised and professional and will assist in reviewing how well our risks are being managed, looking at the effectiveness of the controls in place as part of our approach to integrated risk and assurance mapping.
You will also support the wider team on risk management, value for money (VFM), business strategy and team planning activities.
We’re looking for someone who is great with Microsoft Word and Excel to help maintain good records and someone who is not afraid to speak up and challenge to get the job done.
