We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, results driven individual to join our busy Debt Team. In this role, you will ensure that you support our tenants to resolve financial issues to enable them to manage and sustain tenancies whilst delivering an efficient service in respect of the control and recovery of all debts to WDH.

Reporting to the Debt Recovery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that the Debt Recovery Service delivers customer service excellence at all times to our services users and stakeholders.

Applicants will have:

  • a qualification at Level 2 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework;
  • experience and/or understanding of debt recovery;
  • an understanding and knowledge of welfare reform, budgeting and benefits which will enable you to advise and assist our tenants;
  • recent and significant experience of working with a range of agencies, including statutory and voluntary agencies; and
  • experience working with vulnerable clients/customers in financial hardship.

This role requires regular travel throughout the district and to other locations; therefore, a full Valid UK driving licence is essential.

You will also be required to work outside normal office hours, which will include a minimum of one evening per week and Saturdays in line with business requirements.
