We are looking for someone to lead, develop and maintain effective systems to monitor and support services provided to older and vulnerable people by our Independent Living Team.

In this role you will ensure that appropriate monitoring systems are in place to support the continuation of commissioning bodies contracts, whilst also developing and maintaining effective lines of communications with service users and providers.

Applicants will have:

  • a qualification at Level 4 of the Qualification and Credits Framework, such as an NVQ Award, Certificate or Diploma at level 4 or equivalent;
  • the ability to work unsupervised, setting and meeting targets;
  • excellent presentation skills both written and verbal;
  • experience working in a service related to the post responsibilities;
  • a good understanding of the programme formally known as ‘Supporting People’, Housing/Council Tax Benefits/Universal Credit; and
  • the ability to view the service from a customer perspective.

This post also requires applicants to hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the district.
