We are looking for someone to lead and manage a team within our Homesearch service. You will develop, manage and deliver a comprehensive allocation, voids and new tenancy service whilst delivering and promoting customer service excellence.

You will also engage with stakeholders in developing access to services and assist in the development of strategies and improvement plans for the allocation, voids and new tenancy service.

A key part of this role will also be to establish links and develop partnerships with external organisations whilst maintaining effective working relationships. You will also be responsible for compliance with financial regulations, standing orders and the management of devolved budgets.

Applicants will have:

  • a qualification at level 4 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework, such as a HNC, Award, Certificate or Diploma at Level 4 or equivalent;
  • experience in a managerial position;
  • the ability to work in a target focussed environment;
  • an understanding of and the ability to apply the appropriate legislation, policies and procedures for delivery of the Housing Service;
  • evidence of effective communications with stakeholders, managers and employees; and
  • excellent customer service skills.
  • evidence of budget management having regard for priorities and tight financial limits;

The successful candidate will be required to work on Saturday’s and outside normal office hours, subject to the demands of the service.
