In this role you will assist the Business Compliance Manager to ensure all health and safety requirements within the compliance team meet current and future health and safety legislation and the needs of WDH. You will also support the development, implementation, maintenance and review of health and safety strategies and policies. Applicants will have: a NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent or will be working towards this; a qualification at Level 4 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework such as a Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent; significant and relevant experience in the construction industry; experience of delivering in house health and safety training, and knowledge of the role of the Construction Design Management Co-ordinator and knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations and construction related issues. The role also requires you to have a valid UK driving license and the ability to travel throughout the district and to other locations as required on a daily basis.
