We have seven Neighbourhood Panels, which are made up of a range of community representatives.
The role of Neighbourhood Panels is to determine local priorities and contribute to the development, implementation and challenge of local plans and engagement strategies and to agree local solutions to local issues. Neighbourhood Panels work to ensure residents from across the district are involved in everything we do.

Do you have a finance, accounting or audit background and an interest in social housing?
We’re looking for a new Independent Member on our Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee to provide challenge and help us to continue to put our customers at the heart of our decision making.
We’ll be looking to you to help build on our successes and your effective leadership will support us through the delivery of our Business Strategy, ensuring we achieve our objectives on time and to budget, whilst complying with a range of regulatory, legal, and political requirements.
Previous Committee or Board experience is not essential, although experience of operating at a strategic level will be helpful, and a passion for the housing sector is very important.
We provide homes in diverse areas and want our Board and Committees to be representative of the communities we serve. We are particularly keen to hear from those living in, or with a connection to, Wakefield.
